Multiliquid raises $8 million to expand tokenized asset settlement

Uniform Labs has raised $8 million across pre-seed and seed rounds for Multiliquid, its tokenized-asset settlement platform, to expand institutional access to liquidity. The Block reported that Polychain led the seed round; founder and CEO Will Beeson said the earlier pre-seed closed in 2025 and the seed round in 2026.

The raise backs infrastructure designed to let institutions move between tokenized investments and stablecoins without waiting through multi-day redemption windows.

What does Multiliquid settle, and where?

Multiliquid lets institutions convert tokenized assets into stablecoins, or the reverse, in one atomic transaction, meaning both sides settle together. The platform is live on Ethereum and Solana, according to The Block.

The company says it supports tokenized funds from Wellington Management, VanEck, Janus Henderson and Fasanara, along with stablecoins including USDC. Beeson told The Block that fund subscription and redemption processes can still take several days even when the assets are onchain, slowing treasury rebalancing and other institutional moves.

Who led the round, and what will the money fund?

Polychain led the seed round, with Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures also participating, Uniform Labs’ announcement on PR Newswire said. The $8 million is the combined total from the pre-seed and seed rounds; the company has not disclosed how much came from each or its valuation.

Beeson said the funding will go toward protocol engineering, adding liquidity and trading venue partners, and integrating more tokenized cash and Treasury products across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks and Solana. The company had five employees and was hiring protocol engineers and institutional business development staff, he told The Block.

What does using the platform involve?

Multiliquid charges fees in basis points on completed conversions, according to Beeson. The platform is non-custodial and supports permissioned token standards, which can apply transfer restrictions, identity checks and issuer rules at settlement.

It is handling initial pilot transactions and plans to add liquidity providers in the fourth quarter, Beeson said. The Block reported that the company gave no figures for transaction volume, assets settled, users or institutional clients, so the raise does not yet show how much activity the platform is handling.
