Tokenized funds can trade onchain while their subscriptions and redemptions still take days to settle. Uniform Labs has raised $8 million across pre-seed and seed rounds for Multiliquid, its platform for converting tokenized assets and stablecoins in one transaction, according to The Block’s report.
The raise backs infrastructure aimed at letting institutions move between tokenized investments and stablecoins without waiting through standard redemption cycles.
Who backed the $8 million raise?
Polychain led the seed round, with Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures also participating, according to Multiliquid’s announcement. Founder and CEO Will Beeson told The Block that the pre-seed was raised between May and June 2025, and the seed between April and June 2026.
The company has not disclosed how the total is split between the rounds or its valuation. The pre-seed used a simple agreement for future equity, while the seed was a priced equity round, Beeson said.
How does Multiliquid handle conversions?
The platform lets institutions convert tokenized assets into stablecoins, or back again, through a single atomic transaction, where both sides settle together. It is live on Ethereum and Solana, and supports assets from Wellington Management, VanEck, Janus Henderson and Fasanara, as well as USDC, according to the company and The Block.
Beeson said the platform is non-custodial and works with permissioned token standards, which can apply transfer restrictions, identity checks and issuer rules at settlement. The product is aimed at treasury and collateral management, including rebalancing reserves or meeting intraday margin calls.
What will the funding change for users?
Uniform Labs plans to use the capital to expand protocol engineering, add liquidity and trading venue partners, and integrate more tokenized cash and Treasury products across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks and Solana. Beeson said Multiliquid charges basis-point fees on completed conversions, but the company has not disclosed its rates.
The platform is handling initial pilot transactions and adding liquidity providers in the fourth quarter, Beeson told The Block. It has not disclosed transaction volumes, assets settled, user numbers or institutional clients, so the scale of current use remains unclear.
